Hello and Good Bye
The board welcomed two new staff members to the special education team, Sarah Pennewill and Raelynn Evers.
Christopher Wolcott, Mary Jo McCaffrey, and Tricia Colwell were extended best wishes as they separate employment.

Ayes & Nays
- A resolution establishing the operating budget for the 2019-20 fiscal year;
- A resolution authorizing performance incentive/merit stipend for teachers and instructional administrators in the amount of $100 for 2019-20;
- Approved a report from the President regarding the June 11th Superintendent's performance evaluation and terms of a contract extension;
- Approved the parent and student handbooks for the Career Center, JAC3, Lyle Torrant and Kit Young, and Young Adult programs;
- Awarded a contract to West Michigan Glass for their low bid of $37,056 for applying 3M security film near building entry points at the Career Center, Torrant, and Young Centers. 90% of the cost of the project will be reimbursed through a Michigan State Police school safety grant, the balance will be paid by General Fund dollars;
- Authorized the purchase of precision machining equipment for the Career Center from Production Tool Supply and Gerotech, Inc. The project cost is $83,288 and will be paid from budgeted CTE monies;
- Approved the recommendation to award the low bid for the Transportation paving project to 5 Leprechauns LLC; further include the award of the milling and resurfacing of the existing bus and employee lots;
- Approved renewing a 3-year contract with Illuminate Education in the amount of $438,522.
