Message from the Principal

Dear Wamogo Families and Friends,

As I mentioned in my email from last week regarding school safety, we have been planning to work with Safe and Sound Schools to bring their school safety program to Wamogo. I am pleased to announce that we have arranged for the beginning of this partnership to start on Wednesday, March 7. If you are not familiar with Safe and Sound Schools, please visit the following link to get a clear picture of what they will be able to offer our school.

The plan for next Wednesday will be to have a presentation for students, followed by a walkthrough of our campus to assess security, and lastly a training for all district staff. Parents are welcome to attend the student presentation, which will follow the schedule below:

Middle School Assembly- 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.

High School Assembly- 9:20 a.m. to 10:20 a.m.

We will be holding sessions in the future that will be tailored to parents/guardians, but you are certainly welcome to attend next Wednesday. This represents only the beginning of a larger plan to increase safety at Wamogo.

Thanks as always for your support!

Sabin Loveland

Reminder from the School Nurse

If your child has a fever 100.5 or higher, diarrhea, or is vomiting they need to remain home until they are symptom free without the use of fever reducing medication for 24 hours.
