By reading the following flyer you will learn the rules of firearm safety and how to prevent injuries and casualties. Firearms are a serious matter, and if treated incorrectly, could harm you or others. You will see the results of improper care and proper care. This contains facts and statistics that will give you a different outlook on life.

  • Every day, more than 80 Americans die from gun shot wounds
  • 47% of all males own a firearm
  • 40-45 million adults own a handgun
  • 67% of all gun owners say they have their guns for protection
  • 66% of all gun owners say they have their guns for target shooting
  • 58% say they have them for hunting
