Wednesday, 2/1 & Thursday, 2/2, are Parent Teacher Conferences by appointment only. If you haven't done so, please make an appointment to chat with your child's teacher about their progress!

Music is Coming!🎶

Just a reminder that when we start the second semester on Wednesday, February 1st. All students will now switch from Art to Music. All Pardee Students will see Ms. Young for music each week.

Ruby News!🐶

We are overwhelmed with the generosity of our school family. From beds and shampoo to chew toys and gift cards. Ruby was spoiled over the holiday season! Thank you so much for thinking of her!🐾💚

Classroom Spotlight 🔦 Third Grade - Ms. Emery & Mrs. Telepo

Third grade is hard at work at Pardee! We are beginning to write nonfiction pieces in Language Arts, practicing our multiplication skills in math, discovering different types of forces in science, and studying Michigan's history in Social Studies. This group of third graders are fantastic! They are determined to do their best, and they love collaborating with their classmates!

All Parents/Guardians are welcome and encouraged to join the PTO. Meetings are on the first Monday of the month and are held in the library at 5:00 PM.

Reporting Absences📞

We request that parents call the Pardee Absence line at 313-203-1466 before 9:30 am when their child is absent from school. A robocall will not be sent if the parent has notified the office of their child’s absence through the Pardee absence line. Parents are encouraged to leave a message including the name of the student, the person making the call, and the reason for the absence on the absence line. The office will return calls as needed. We hope that this process will support improved communication between the school and the parents/guardians.

Dress for the weather!❄

As the colder weather approaches, please ensure your students are dressed for the temperatures. They will be going outside for recess as long as the weather permits.

If students are not dressed appropriately for the weather, they may be unable to go outside.
