WAHS PARENT NEWSLETTER
ISSUE NO. 2 ⤁ NOVEMBER - 2021
Dear WAHS Families,
We are thankful!
As we prepare to take a short break from school for Fall Break and the Thanksgiving Holiday, we want to express our gratitude for everyone who makes it possible for as many students as possible to come to school every day, on time, and ready to learn. We thank the following people:
Our students and families for making daily attendance a priority since they know the habit of attending school will help them do well in the classroom, in college, or in the workplace.
Our wonderful teachers who pour their energy into making each classroom an exciting place of exploration, discovery, and knowledge so that our students do not want to miss learning about new concepts and ideas.
Our support staff and community volunteers who provide the extra hands and attention our children need.
We appreciate each one of you so much. We look forward to seeing you after the Thanksgiving holiday. As a reminder, our school will be closed on Monday, November 22, 2021 and it will reopen on Monday, November 29, 2021.
One more note of thanks is to all of you who remain dedicated to our students by being present each day and giving your best effort as a WAHS staff member.
We hope that you and your family stay well throughout the holidays!
Calling All Parent, Freshman and Sophomore Students!!!
Freshman & Sophomore Night will be held on Thursday, November 11 at 6:00pm. School counselors will review graduation requirements, successful high school navigation, and future planning!
