Jay Skank
Year: Junior
Major: Communication Studies & Event Planning
Hometown: Pittsburgh, PA
Favorite Dance Move: All of the moves from "Hotline Bling"
Best Song to dance to like no one's watching: Hey Ya by Outkast
Why I am FTK: I'm FTK because throughout my entire life, I've been fortunate enough to not need any of the services that the RMHC provides for countless families, but I'm honored to be able to give back and help the families that need it most. I love being apart of something that benefits the greater good along with hundreds of other incredible Bobcats and dance for those who can't!

Favorite Dance Move: Bend & Snap
Best song: All I Want for Christmas is You
Why I am FTK: I am FTK because kids deserve to be kids. Helping kids be kids regardless of what they are going through is so important to their healing process. Being a part of BobcaThon is humbling and to see everyone come together For The Kids is inspiring! I dance For The Kids to remind myself of the blessings I have had in my life and not to take anything for granted. Everything and anything helps the families!

Hometown: Wooster, Ohio
Favorite Dance Move: The Soulja Boy
Best Song to Dance to While No One is Watching: "Dance with Somebody" by Whitney Houston
Why I am FTK: I am FTK because I grew up as a "sick kid." The one thing I have been most thankful for throughout my journey with a chronic disease is my family. I am FTK because I do not want any family to be separated while their child is receiving care.

What is a Morale Captain?
We know 12-hours of dancing can seem pretty daunting. That’s why you have a Morale Captain! These students will be your guide throughout the day of BobcaThon, and pump you all up, or "boost morale," throughout the rest of the year. They will be teaching the Line Dance on stage each hour, bustin' moves with you and the rest of your team, dressin' to impress (in their color, of course), and making sure you're all having the time of your lives!
What is a Color Team?
Although you may have already signed up with a team of your own on Firstgiving, the day of the Dance Marathon you will be placed on a "Color Team." This puts you in a bigger group of the Bobcat Family to bond with, do fundraisers with, participate in color wars with, and much much more! In addition, you are more than welcome, and encouraged, to get decked out in the color that you have been placed with on the day of the dance marathon!
What are Color Wars?
We're all about friendly competition here at BobcaThon, so throughout the year, and the day of DM, you will have MANY opportunities to accumulate Color War points. You can get points throughout the year by attending dancer meetings, hosting fundraisers, fun games, being an involved Dancer and fundraiser with BobcaThon, etc.! The possibilities are endless! Be on the lookout for news about opportunities to earn Color War points for your team!
