Our PTSA would love to send each one of our 138 teachers and staff home for the Thanksgiving holiday with a delicious pie! Pie In the Sky has extended a great discount for us ($14/pie), but we need your help! Please go to their website Go to http://www.pieintheskypieco.com/fundraiserpies • Use the passcode “pie” to gain access to the page(More information in the flyer below) and purchase a pie (or 2 or 3…) for our wonderful Tays staff!
Veterans Day is November 11th, and Tays Junior High would like to honor our veterans for their patriotism and willingness to serve our country. If you have a loved one who you would like to recognize for Veterans Day, please fill out the form linked HERE. You can fill it out for more than one veteran, and the information will be turned into a slideshow that will be shared across Tays and its community. Students will also be able to access the survey from their SS teachers starting tomorrow morning in Canvas in their announcements. Please fill the form out no later than Monday, November 9th. Thank you!
Thanks in advance for supporting our school and our students!
Regards,
Dr. Kris Mitzner

Nurse's Notes
This has been a wild year so far, and I know there have been a lot of changes. I want to thank everyone so much for being patient and understanding with all of our new policies and procedures with absences and dismissals from the clinic under the KatyISD COVID-19 guidelines. For those of you who are unfamiliar, if your child is absent or sent home from the clinic with an illness with two or more symptoms that are COVID-like, they will need to be seen by their doctor and have a doctor’s note to clear them to return to school. It will be up to the doctor to decide if they need to have a COVID test before they clear them to return.
Flu season is upon us, believe it or not! There are places all around town offering flu shots. Many insurance carriers provide flu shots for no charge under your policy. Check your policy to see if you and your family are covered.
Is your child returning for F2F instruction for 3rd term, and do they need to take medication at school? You can find the necessary forms on the TJH website under clinic. These forms can be dropped off along with the meds any time during the school day. Forms must be signed by your child’s physician if they are to be taken for a period of 15 days or more.
Questions or Concerns? Please don’t hesitate to contact the clinic any time!
