Join us in celebrating Hispanic Heritage month from September 15th-October 15th!
In Spanish class, we are discussing heritage and how we all have a unique story and background that helps make us who we are. I encourage you to talk to your kids about your family's origins. What unique traditions or customs influence your lives or hold a special place in your heart? We can learn so much about ourselves and others by exploring our heritage!
This month-long celebration of Hispanic Heritage kicks off with seven different Spanish speaking countries celebrating their independence from Spain between September 15th and 18th. Here is a short 1-minute clip from Nickelodeon about what it means to be Hispanic and a song "Join the Celebración" to celebrate Hispanic Heritage month.
