Doodle for Google
What Makes Me...ME K-12 Art Contest!
We are inviting you to be apart of Doodle for Google 2015 Art Contest
What Makes me..ME
How long do I have to enter my child or student's doodle?
The 2015 contest entry period is from October 19, 2015 to December 7, 2015.
Can teachers enter artwork on behalf of their classrooms?
Teachers and after school programs are welcome to enter doodles on behalf of their K-12 students as long as the entry form is signed by each student's parent or guardian.
Is there a limit to how many doodles a school, after school program, or parent can enter?
No. Though teachers may enter multiple doodles for their classrooms at one time, we only accept one original doodle per student.
What materials can be used on the doodle?
This is the first year that students may create a doodle using any medium or materials. However, please note that doodles will be reviewed and scanned in a two-dimensional (2D) format. If students create a three-dimensional (3D) doodle, please make sure to take a photograph and enter the photograph rather than the original. Original 2D scannable doodles made with materials such as paint, pencils, crayons, markers, chalk, pastels, charcoal, cray-pas, or a 2D collage will be accepted. Computer-generated images will also accepted. For more information, see the How it Works page.
How is the contest judged?
Please see the Judging section of the How it Works page for details about how the contest is judged.
Is the public involved in the voting process?
Yes. Once the entry period is closed and our judges have narrowed the field to the 53 best doodles, the public will be invited to vote online from February 8, 2016 to February 22, 2016. Voters will be asked to select their favorite doodles, one from each grade group. Help spread the word for your favorite doodles by sharing them with your friends and family.
