Character Trading Cards
Are you a sports fan? Do you like to collect and trade cards of your favorite players with your friends? Trading cards is fun, and there are many more than just sports cards! You can even create your own cards! Try creating a trading card for characters in a book you’ve read. Here's how!
· Use an index card, a piece of cardboard, cardstock, or a thick piece of paper cut about 2 ½ inches by 4 inches.
· On one side of the card write the character’s name, the title and author of the book he/she is found in, and draw an illustration of the character.
· On the other side of the card write 4 facts about your character.
· You can make character cards for several books you read and trade them with your friends.
Who knows? You might just hook your friend on a new book to read!
