Funding Closed For Teachers as Readers Book Groups

We have funded our allotted 26 book groups this year at $100 each! Teachers across the Council are reading the following titles:
• Teaching Reading in Small Groups
• Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Teaching and Learning
• Seven Strategies of Assessment for Learning
• Reciprocal Teaching
• A Mindset for Learning
• Reading Nonfiction: Notice and Note
• Kid Writing: A Systematic Approach to Phonics, Journals and Writing Workshop

Informative Newsletter Now Available from the Oregon Reading Association

The spring issue of the ORAcle newsletter is now available: Newsletter

Article topics include:
- Blended learning: integrating technology into instruction
