It is Teacher Appreciation Week!
We are excited to show our appreciation for our staff this week!
See the picture for the exciting week we have planned for them.
Oh the places you'll go!
If you are interested in staff signing "Oh the Places You'll Go!" we respectfully ask that they are delivered to the front office in an envelope with the student's name on the front.
Please deliver the books starting on May 11, Tuesday, and we will have them signed on Wednesday, May 12, and ready for pick-up on Thursday, May 13. We will be available to do this again the following Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday also.
The staff would like to get them all signed timely.
Don't miss out on buying a yearbook!
Yearbooks may also be bought at school with cash or check(Cheyenne MS) for $40.
Thank you to Mr. Towne for visiting our PTO meeting to discuss the upcoming Bond Issue
Cheyenne and many of our feeder schools will be benefitting from the Bond Issue and some of the previously approved projects are in development right now. On the north side of our building construction has begun on our second gym. This bond issue we would benefit from by receiving newly paved roads/parking lots.
End of year Festivities
This year has been one to remember and we plan to celebrate the finality of the school year with each grade level. We are planning some fun in-school events for each grade and even more so for our 8th graders. Unfortunately, we will not be hosting a promotion ceremony as in the past. However, we are planning something special for the students on campus on their last day. We will have more details coming soon.

Covid-19 Info
All the trees are blooming which is beautiful but can cause some symptoms that lead to confusion. Whilst you should consult a doctor (or use a handy testing hub as listed below) to confirm a diagnosis, the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has provided a nifty chart to help you at home.
Remember...
With students returning to the classroom four days a week, it is still imperative that families contact the school if their child is exhibiting symptoms or tests positive. Please call or email Mr. Lowe and Rachel Gayken directly should your child's absence be related to a Covid quarantine or isolation. Please leave a message EVEN if this occurs over days when we are not in school.
