News of the Week
March 21-25
Dear Parents,
Each week, please see below for the skills our class will be studying. Anything that you can do to support them at home is appreciated! You may notice that we spend more than one week on particular skills as they are meant to take longer than one week to cover in class.
- Mrs. Williams
Important Reminders!
- We had a special visitor today from Shay Diggs, my instructor at Buford Fit Body Bootcamp! The kids had a great time listening to him read a pirate story and doing some exercise moves! He has been visiting local schools getting the kids pumped up about fitness! See below for photos and a video.
- Our field trip to INK is on MONDAY!!! Please wear your blue FMES shirt if possible. If you are bringing a lunchbox, please send it in all throw-away containers. Make sure the kids are to school on time so they don't miss the field trip bus!
- We are having an Egg Hunt on Friday, March 25th at 2:30pm. We would love if you could please send in 12 eggs filled with a small item or non-peanut, non-chocolate candy by Wednesday. If you would like to attend, you may! It will probably last about 20 minutes and then we will go inside to pack up for dismissal.
- Information for our SECOND field trip of the year came home last week, please be sure to log-on to My Payments Plus to fill out the form and pay. Let me know if you need a paper form.
- Report cards will come home on Friday, March 25th. I had the wrong date in last week's newsletter.
- Domino's Night is Tuesday!
- Our school is having a variety show with 4th & 5th grade performers on Thursday night at 6pm. Admission for kids is free and $5 for adults. It will be a great show!
