Cardinal Library
Newsday Tuesday, December 8, 2015
The holiday season has arrived at the Cardinal Library
At this time of year, each year, we put up the Cardinal Christmas Tree and decorate the library so that everyone is in a festive holiday mood. We believe that everyone should take some time to reflect on the past year and be grateful for the many joys in our lives.
a little help with the decorations
6th grade students have been helping with the decorations also. We spent some time cutting paper snowflakes and they will be used to decorate the library windows.
A holiday Cardinal Challenge
We are challenging all the students of DCMS to make a guess as to how many cardinals are on the Cardinal Tree. Stop by the library and take a look at the tree and then fill out one of the challenge forms. You can get the form from Miss Ellie at the circulation desk. Only one guess per student, please. You have until Monday, December 14th to make your guess. The person that guesses closest to the actual amount will receive a gift. Good luck.
