Mustang Message
July 29, 2017
Welcome Back 2016-2017!
How do we set our compass to foster inspiration, innovation, creative thinkers and problem solvers for Greens Prairie students? I think we do that by the daily decisions that we make each day. Take a second to view the video clip below. This is a funny clip to remind us that our decisions, our choices can positively change not only our own lives but our students' lives as well. The cat is taking risks, embracing change and enjoying an adventurous life as he becomes "more dog." Did you notice what he says? "Everyday is the same." Everything is just mehh (spelling?)." What would happen if we too become "more dog" by having an adventurous mindset and giving ourselves permission to take a risk to try something new? As the cat encourages us, "Look at the world today; it's amazing!" So I challenge us as we chart out a new year to be more dog! "Carpe diem it means grab the frisbee!" What will grabbing the frisbee look like in your classroom and our school this school year?
Be legendary - see the possibilities!
