Congrats Tennis!
Sofia Sanchez will be signing to play tennis at Mary Hardin Baylor next fall. The Signing Day Celebration will take place at the CHS Area on February 5, 2020 @ 8am. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Sofia's accomplishment.
Additionally, All-District Honorees have been announced for 2019 Team Tennis:
Every year All-District teams are chosen by all the head coaches in a district for Team Tennis. Each head coach nominates players from his team for each honor based on such things as: how that athlete performed in district play, minutes played during the season, statistics, work ethic, attitude, and how that athlete is looked upon by opposing coaches; however, coaches can only vote for players from other teams. Coppell Tennis obviously has a very dominant presence on the All-District Team!!
The following honorees are New Tech @Coppell students:
Boys Singles
- Cason Cole Honorable Mention
- Sofia Sanchez Honorable Mention (w/ her partner Lindsay Patton)
- Cason Cole Honorable Mention (w/ his partner Nandini Thallpareddy)
- Newcomer of the Year- Sofia Sanchez
Congrats to All State Band!

The 2020-2021 Course Registration period will be opening soon. I have updated all of the necessary documents and placed them on our website HERE. Please begin looking through the course guide and other documents to prepare for course registration.
It is very important that you read through the information in the course guide before beginning this process. There is more in the course guide than just courses, and most of your questions can be answered there if you take the time to review.

Below is a timeline of the next few months:
- January 13-17 in Science classes to discuss registration
- January 20 online registration opens
- February 7 online registration closes
- February 10-21 counselor meets with each learner individually to go other course requests and personal graduation plan..
- March 17 course verification forms handed out
- April 1 course verification forms due
If at any point during the registration process you have problems or questions, then please send me an e-mail and we will review or schedule a meeting to discuss.
Thank you,

Application Process and Forms
A student with a documented disability may be eligible for accommodations on College Board tests (SAT, SAT Subject Tests, PSAT, and AP exams) and the ACT. The school does not automatically apply for students to receive accommodations, but will assist families once the request is made to begin the process of applying for accommodations if their child is eligible for Section 504 or SPED. If you have any questions regarding testing accommodations, please contact Ms. Shaikh, Assistant Principal at rshaikh@coppellisd.com.
