Unami United
May 15, 2017
Dear Unami Parents, Guardians & Students,
The end of the school year always bring a flurry of academic and extracurricular events. On Wednesday we had a revised schedule to feature our Unami United special assemblies, including our much anticipated Finding Kind Campaign! The message our guest presenters, Lauren and Molly, shared with our girls really resonated. They explained that even a small compliment or a warm smile can make a "BIG" difference in someone's day, potentially someone's life! Girls were excited to participate and loved their "You can sit with us" tote bags!
Our last standardized assessments for the year will take place on Tuesday and Wednesday with the Algebra 1 Keystone Exam. There will be a flipped schedule on Wednesday to ensure that students see all of their classes over the two days.
We hope you enjoy our newsletter!

MUSIC TO OUR EARS...
All evenings featured artwork produced by all grades throughout the 2016-2017 school year. Art was (and still is) displayed in the main hallway - portraits, clay art, pop art, still life... you name it. The art always makes our main hallway look fantastic!
A huge thanks to Mr. Bower, Ms. Jones, Ms. Leonardo, and Ms. Pak for their hard work and many hour of dedication working with the art music students to put on these performances!
