Campus Parent Communication - November 12, 2021

Thank you to our AMAZING PTA for helping us coordinate our Veterans Day celebration yesterday. It was such a wonderful event, and we are proud to honor those that have served. I've included some of the pictures below.

We're looking forward to our Bedtime Stories with the Principals on Tuesday, December 7th. We'd love for you and your children to join us. PTA will be providing milk and cookies for you to take home with you. :-)

We're extremely thankful for each of you, and we truly appreciate your support. As a reminder, Friday, November 19th will be an early release day. Students will then be off for Thanksgiving Break from November 22-26. We hope you have a wonderful time with your family and friends.

Have a great weekend!

Thank you,

Tonya Jasenof

No Lunch Visitors

We will providing a Thanksgiving Lunch for our staff on Thursday, November 18th, therefore, we will not be allowing lunch visitors that day.

In addition, on early release days we will not be allowing lunch visitors. We have two this semester. They include Friday, November 19th and Friday, December 17th.

Lost and Found

We have a numerous amount of items in lost and found. To best support your child in assuring they don't permanently lose these items, please label them before they wear them to school. We suggest putting first and last name. Thanks!

Room Parents

We will only be having room parents in attendance at classroom parties this year. If you would like to be the head or co-room parent for your child's homeroom, please complete this form. Please know that while we love having all volunteers on campus, we're only allowing one head room and one co-room parent per class. If you're not the head room parent or the co-room parent for your child's homeroom, you can still volunteer and support them. Thank you!

**If we have multiple room parents per class, we will just randomly draw for each homeroom.

CogAT Testing for Kindergarten

Allen ISD Gifted & Talented and Assessment Departments will coordinate upcoming kindergarten phase I testing for potential gifted/talented identification. You do not need to register your student for phase I testing.
