From the Classroom
Art: Art class is still working on our mural made of bottle caps for Earth Day. The finished piece will be 60 x 80 inches and feature a loggerhead turtle native to the wetlands. It's caption will read, "In the Bay, Keep litter away!" If you have plastic bottle caps or soda cans please bring them to the Art room.
Math: We have had a great start to Semester 2! Welcome to all of our new students. Your math department teachers are Mr. Dutton (room 2114), Ms. Fonte (room 2120) and Ms. Forbes (room 2121). Mr. Dutton joined the North Star Staff this year and Ms. Fonte and Ms. Forbes moved over from the Douglass School. Please be sure to visit our individual web pages to learn more about us.
We are so happy to see you in our math classes each day since we do not have A nor B days and you will get your math credit completed by June. Besides, who doesn't love to have math EVERY day! You will find that we all work together so don't be surprised if you join another math class from time-to-time. Thank you for choosing North Star and we can't wait to start working with you to meet your math goals.Black History Month
