Reading
This week we will be focusing on the types of characters in literature and how character change/develop. We will also continue to review indirect characterization as we continue reading Freak the Mighty. We are analyzing how characters change in a novel while identify parts of the plot. Students should be prepared for a comprehension quiz on chapters 10-17 of Freak the Mighty on Wednesday.
*A friendly reminder... students should be reading the same independent reading book at home as they are at school. This means, their DEAR book should be going home nightly with them, and making its way back to school the following day, everyday! Don't forget to sign their pink reading log bookmark!
