From the Desk of Russ Booth

March 12, 2023

Good afternoon MHS families,

It is shaping up to be a busy week at MHS. Our percussion and color guard are hosting a mini home show today at 4pm. The event is only an hour, so if you are out enjoying the extra daylight, come down to the gym to see the results of all their hard work.

The boys basketball team will play for a spot in the state championship tomorrow, March 13th at 7:15. The game will be played at Worcester State University.

We are also hosting two events later in the week. Our 8th grade scheduling information night will be Wednesday, March 15th starting at 6:30pm. And the Post-Secondary planning fair will be hosted in the gym this week on Thursday, March 16th. This is a great event for students and parents to meet representatives from a variety of areas for life after high school. More information regarding the night can be found below.

Be sure to check out the variety of information below and I hope you all enjoy the extra sunshine today before the wet weather returns this week.

Senior Corner:

Graduation is set for Sunday, June 4th at the Xfinity Center. We have also confirmed the time of the ceremony to begin at 1:00pm.

The dates for the reverse half-days are below and can also be found on the district calendar which is also linked at the bottom of the newsletter.

ELA MCAS:

March 28th and 29th

Support without Spending

Mansfield Choir is raising funds to lower field trip costs. HundredX Causes is a way for people to give without spending to a cause they care about - just by sharing their opinions. Members of the choir have attended the Tri-County Choral Festival, sang at the Providence Bruins and have organized a number of opportunities for singers in grades 4-12! As we grow we hope to offer more but we need your help!

Here’s how it works: This month, each time you share a quality brand opinion with HundredX, up to $2 goes towards fundraising for choir programming. You can personally create up to $150 of value (75 opinions).

Please click HERE or text “VOICE” to 90412 to sign up and learn more about the program.

We are so grateful for your support!
