This is a satellite picture of the Nile River. This is the longest river in Africa and is a life line for many of the people who settle along it. This river cuts through Egypt.
Wildlife
This is a picture of the Nile Moniter. They are native to Africa and are one of the many reptiles that can be found in and around the Nile River. They can grow up to 6 feet in length. They have a forked tongue that is used for smell.
Plants
This is the Agapanthus Lily. It originates from the banks of the Nile River. They come in large clumps and multiply quickly.
Fish
Nile Perch can be found in the Nile River. It is considered one of the World's 100's most inavsive species. It is made famous by getting caught by Jeremy Wade on "River Monsters" a reality fishing show on Discovery Channel.
