From the Teacher's Pen
Our current math chapter on adding started with a simple joke (3rd grade humor). So I am going to borrow that concept....
Knock, knock.
(Who's there.)
One more.
(One more who.)
Twenty-nine plus one more makes thirty.
We welcomed the return of Juliette Cash on Halloween morning. What a homecoming! I wasn't sure if she would survive all the hugs from her many St. Mikes friends.
Great Conferences!
I enjoyed seeing all of you at our first conference. If you think of anything else you want to ask or concerns over something you are seeing in your child's work, please contact me. For those of you who asked about AR, I gave Mrs. Joanis a list and she has already started putting together some reading selections to tempt those reluctant readers. She is truly amazing because she knows these students and their likes and dislikes.
