Fifth Grade June News!
This will be a special few weeks for us as we review skills through collaborative projects, share books, take field trips, and celebrate our final time at Centerville together. Here are a few things to keep in mind as we enter our final stretch of learning together:
We are busy planning our end-of-year activities. Our Promotion Ceremony will be Tuesday, June 18th at 9:45 in the cafeteria. Keep an eye out for upcoming Find Out First emails with more information. After the Promotion Ceremony, all of our fifth grade classes will spend the day celebrating together.
Fifth graders will have their End of the Year Celebration at Upward Enterprises on June 5th and June 6th. This is the very first group of students to experience this awesome destination. We made this change because, in previous years, students spent the majority of their day waiting in line for activities. Three classes are going each day in order to give students the opportunity to participate in nonstop team building and high adventure activities with a guide. This will give students a more personalized experience without the wait time.
Please check your child’s supply bag for missing or low supplies. Our students and classrooms are running out of pencils, scissors, glue sticks and TISSUES.
