News and Reminders
Thank you for coming to Open House. I hope it was informational. Please take time to read through the handout I provided and become familiar with my website. Let me know if you have any questions.
Please remember to empty your child’s Homework Folder each night. YOUR CHILD should put the completed night’s homework in this folder & place it in his/her backpack to bring to school the following day. Help them remember, but please allow them to have this responsibility.
If you have not brought a small box for your child's phonic's letter tiles (ex. altoid box), please do so by this Tuesday.
We have allergies in this classroom to Tree nut and Peanut. Please be respectful of the children in this classroom with these allergies, and do not send snacks in with your child that contain these ingredients or have been manufactured with these ingredients. As mentioned in the open house handout, there is a purple website link under the "classroom info" tab on my website called "safe snack guide". You can find a copy of alternative snacks that follow safe guidelines. Thank you!
Looking for Volunteers:
I am looking for volunteers to cut up some apples into small squares for an Apple STREAM activity occurring on Sept 6th with our 5th grade buddies. If you could cut enough to fill a sandwich baggie with some added lemon juice that would be terrific! Just shoot me an email if you are sending them in so I know to look for them. Again, these are not needed until Friday Sept 6th.
I hope you all enjoy your long weekend with family!
