The Folding Cabinet Bed

from nothing to something

the bed that moves with you

The folding cabinet bed was a simple solution for an age old problem. Not enough space to much bed. The answer was simple for African American Sarah Goode in 1885 she placed a patent on the new bed that she had made. In a time when blacks were treated as animals and being a woman was lower than a man she made an invention that was thought that only white man could make. The folding cabinet bed changed the way america slept and allowed for more space in the day and a nice big bed at night.

The Bed was made on a simple design it had slides and they went down and then up again to be tucked and out of sight in an attractive beautiful cabinet. the slides would go down across a medal bar and then up again on the same metal bar
