A Forbidden Desire
a perfect rose with a touch of sweetness,
this particular one so impossible,
there is still no joy at the end of the day.
Mel calls to me in that soft, innocent voice like nectar so sweet,
making me want to turn around, to shed into tears,
Mel knew I shouldn't,
I knew I couldn't.
As the icy night breeze pierces my eyes,
seeing my Angela leave,
an infant being apart from her mother,
Although knowing, we can never be together.
