Internship/Learn To Earn
Internship is a fantastic way for young people to have real-world experience and exposure to potential careers, all while still earning their HS credits and potentially getting paid for their work. Students completing an internship at Oley Valley have time built into their high school schedule for travel, on-site hours and a monthly seminar with their cohort. This year, we have ten students interning in a variety of fields, such as Auto Mechanics, Physical Therapy, Education, Nursing, Business Management and Medical. These students plan to continue their education in these fields while at a post-secondary setting.
Any interested 10th or 11th graders should speak to their counselor about the Internship process for the 2022-23 school year.

Being Thankful
Thankfulness and gratitude have long been shown to have a positive effect on our mental and physical wellbeing. Expressing our gratitude to others and being thankful for what we have can be done in a variety of ways such as: keeping a Gratitude Jar, writing notes of thanks, making a daily Gratitude Journal for the whole family or simply just saying "Thanks."
In the spirit of the holiday, the OVHS Counselors would like to express our sincere gratitude to all of the OVSD parents who support us in supporting our students. We could not do what we do without your support.
