Sycamore Community Schools
March 2020
Monitoring COVID-19
As with the cold and flu, Sycamore Community Schools is closely monitoring the spread of COVID-19, also known as the coronavirus.
District safety and health administrators have been working with the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the Ohio Department of Health to determine what actions are necessary for the interest of student safety and wellness. This includes monitoring evolving advisories from federal and international agencies regarding international travel.
According to the CDC, there are currently no cases of coronavirus in Ohio and the risk to the U.S. public is considered low at this time.
