Note from Mrs. Craft
Dear Hart Families,
Happy Thursday! Wow, the month of November has flown by, and I know that our students are excited about taking a break from school to enjoy Thanksgiving. Just a reminder that we will be donating any leftover items in our Lost & Found tomorrow. As a reminder, if you label your child's items, then we can return it to your family.
With the holiday approaching next week, I am reminded of how thankful I am for our Lovejoy community. This is a unique place, and I am grateful to be part of it. I hope that you have a happy and safe Thanksgiving creating lifelong memories with your family.
As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to me.
All My Best,
Wendy Craft

The 2022 Lovejoy Fine Arts Festival will open its doors over the weekend of December 2nd and 3rd, 2022. We are looking forward to seeing familiar faces, and many new ones, as you spend time touring our art galleries or catching an amazing performance. The Lovejoy Fine Arts Festival features over 3000 pieces of visual art from grades kindergarten through high school, and roughly 32 performances from our bands, choirs, cheerleaders, color guard, dancers and theatre students. It is an outstanding celebration of our arts from every campus for the community in Lovejoy. Please check out the Lovejoy Fine Arts website, www.lovejoyfinearts.org, to keep up with the schedules and any changes.
Our parent community is needed to help support the festival, we have a list of goods that can be donated for our bake sale and luncheon, as well as plenty of areas in which to volunteer your time. LHS students will receive a link to volunteer the week of the Festival, but parents can start choosing where they would like to help now. Please check out the links for donated goods and adult volunteers.
We look forward to seeing everyone in December for the 2022 Lovejoy Fine Arts Festival!
Lovejoy ISD Children's Choir
Recently, we announced the 8th season of the Lovejoy ISD Children’s Choir. "LCC" is designed to serve the needs of our district’s 4th, 5th and 6th grade students who are committed to a musically exceptional experience. All 4th grade Hart students are encouraged to audition for our district honor choir! You do not have to be a current member of our campus choir to audition for LCC.
To register for LCC, please click HERE! We are preparing for auditions in class and during choir. Please read all of the details on this incredible experience HERE. Auditions will take place December 8th after school at Hart.
We look forward to continuing this Lovejoy tradition in a new and unique way! If you have any questions, please reach out to katrina_arabie@lovejoyisd.net, thank you!

Nurse Tami's Notes
- Hi, Hart families! Please help your child choose warm, comfortable clothing for school each day, including socks. With this cold weather, it’s a good idea to dress in multiple layers. Mittens, gloves and/or a hat are also recommended.
- Please do not send your child to school if he/she has:
- Flu-like symptoms (fever and/or chills, headache, muscle pain or body aches, feeling tired or weak, sore throat, runny or stuffy nose, sneezing, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, vomiting, and diarrhea)
- A fever of 100.0 degrees or greater
- Vomiting or diarrhea
- An infection that requires antibiotics (i.e. strep throat, pink eye, etc.) unless they have been on antibiotics for a full 24 hours.
- If your child is sick and tests positive for anything, please send me an email to let me know. This helps me monitor our campus health. Thank you for helping me keep Hart healthy.
