CHARITABLE FUND
The Fulton School Employees' Charitable Fund is the vehicle which provides an opportunity for employees to make contributions that promote the well-being of our students, families, and local communities.
Our goal this year is to double the number of employees who made contributions in 2017, from 7%.
It is that time of the year to open your hearts and help support The Fulton County Charitable FundDrive. The donation period will run for three weeks, from October 15 - November 2, 2018. I have attached the directions for making your donation on line and the difference between an annual election and one time election.
You have until 11:59 p.m. on Friday, November 2 to make benefit selections and tax-deductible charitable contributions. To contribute to the Fulton School Employees’ Charitable Fund, click here
We would like to hold our traditional prize drawing for those who contribute, and I will need prizes donated from the staff. Great items are: gift cards, baked goods, hand-made items, etc.
Directions to follow:
- Make your on-line donation
- Complete the Microsoft Form to enter the drawing.
– Click Here for “I Donated” Link
If you would like to donate a prize:
- By Nov 3rd- Please complete the Microsoft Form stating the item you will contribute
Click here for the “I Want To Donate a Prize” Link - Bring the item for the drawing day during our December Faculty Meeting.
What’s New for 2018?
- Campaign dates align with Benefits Open Enrollment: October 15- November 2, 2017
- Agencies that promote the well-being of our FCS students, families and communities.
- Recurring annual contributions makes it easy for employees to continue their giving without having to enter selections manually each year.
- Easy to use form to request to discontinue contributions.
Thank you so much for supporting Fulton County. The attached brochure includes the organizations to help you make your choice a bit more meaningful. Please let me know if you need help or have questions.
Your kindness is greatly appreciated,
Katie Pardee

Multi-Factor Authentication for Open Enrollment
Open Enrollment runs Monday, October 15 through Friday, November 2. You must be on FCS property to log in to Employee Express unless you have already set up Multi-Factor Authentication.
All employees must register for Multi-Factory Authentication (MFA) in order to access Employee Express from home, mobile networks, or anywhere other than school district property. After registering for MFA, logging into Employee Express will require your user name and password, as well as a MFA code.
MFA is not required for devices that are on-site at a Fulton County Schools facility and connected to the FCS network.
- Log into https://mfa.fultonschools.org/portal/ to register. For instructions on how to register, log into the employee portal then click here: Register for MFA
- For assistance with logging into Employee Express once you have registered for an MFA account, refer to this document: Employee Express + MFA
- If you have previously registered for MFA, you do not need to complete these steps.
Benefits Open Enrollment - 10/15/18-11/2/18

Most important information I can stress - DO NOT WAIT until the last day to do your enrollment. If you have forgotten your login credentials and you wait until the last day, you may not be able to enroll.
Flu Vaccine
It’s that time of year again for the flu vaccine. We have a wonderful partnership with Maxim Health and Student Health Services to offer you the flu vaccine right here at school.
- The greatest news is there is no co-pay for those covered under BCBSGA or other Maxim accepted insurance (see attached) - they will file it with your insurance
- We must have 25 people signed up in order to hold the flu clinic (spouses and children over the age of 18 are allowed to come if they hold the same insurance)
- For any others who would like to participants the cost is $31.50 (cash/check)
- This year we will be offering the Quadrivalent vaccine
- You will need to have your Insurance card and driver’s license the day of the clinic.
Our clinic is scheduled for: Thursday, November 1st from 11:15-1:30 in the PLR room.
Please sign up on this link https://form.jotform.com/82764690655166 by October 29th by 1:00 pm
Please click on the link and sign up for each person receiving the flu shot (this includes one line for each family member) and list your insurance.

In Case you were wondering...
Laughter is the best medicine
Person 1: "Have you heard of Murphy's Law?"
Person 2: "Yes, anything that can go wrong will go wrong."
Person 1: "What about Cole's law?"
Person 2: "No."
Person 1: "It's a thin-slice cabbage dripped in mayonnaise and sour cream."
...
What happened to the man running in front of the car? He was tired.
What happened to the man running behind the car? He was exhausted.
...
A woman walks into a library and orders fish and chips.
The librarian says, "This is a library."
The woman, says, "Oh. Sorry." Then whispers, "I'd like some fish and chips."
