Online Learning Opportunity Prep
COVID-19
INTRODUCTION
CMMS Students,
As you know, we are now transitioning to an online learning environment opportunity for at least the next six weeks based on Governor Inslee's orders to cancel schools in our county from March 17th to April 24th to help slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus. We will have school on Friday, March 13th and Monday, March 16th. During this time in school we will train students on how to prepare for and access their online learning environments. Our school staff expects you to pay close attention and take things very seriously today and Monday to make sure you are fully prepared. It is also important to know that we are working through the logistics of providing food, WiFi access and other possible needed supports for students and families. In everyday typical instruction our teachers and students regularly use online platforms, therefore any students not in attendance for these lessons will receive the information and tutorial videos. You will all have the access, information and supports to be successful during this challenging opportunity. When any next-step plans are finalized they will be communicated out.
Below are a few quick reference staff emails for you to communicate with if you need support, you will also have email/digital access to your teachers and support staff.
Thank you for showing your Cougar Pride!

MANDATORY SURVEY FOR ALL STUDENTS
It is very important that we have the most up to date information for YOU AND YOUR FAMILY during this time! The information will ONLY be accessed for "NEED TO KNOW" reasons. Your advisory teachers will walk you through this survey, and answer your questions. All students must complete this CMMS STUDENT INFORMATION SURVEY!
REVIEW AND UPDATE YOUR FAMILY ACCESS INFORMATION
LOCKER CLEAN OUT
PASSCODE CHECK
All Students Follow These Steps:
VIDEO LINKED BELOW
1. Go to Settings.
2. Scroll down to and tap Touch ID & Passcode.
3. Instruct students to key in their passcode (what they think the passcode is)
4. IF the passcode is INCORRECT, send students to library to have passcode removed OR if their passcode is CORRECT, all is fine and they can exit Settings.
Please remind students to use the passcode to get into their iPad instead of their fingerprints. Fingerprints are unreliable and can lead a student to be locked out and ultimately without wifi to reset it remotely.
Factual Information for COVID-19 Class Discussion
Once all mandatory activities are complete, here are some articles and resources to support both staff and students as they learn about and discuss the COVID-19 virus and our community. It is important to know that we get all guidance from the local health department and related government officials.
