Principal's Message
Hello Wildcat families,
We are rocking along here at Wilson Creek. The students are diving right into learning and are eager to share what they know. It's a joy to be here! Each morning I either walk the halls to greet students and staff, or I am out at carpool. Wherever I am, I see examples of students looking out for one another.
This morning a first grader was having a tough start and as I walked her to class, several of her classmates stopped to ask if she was ok. In another instance, an upper grade student noticed a kindergartener who seemed confused. She immediately knelt down, asked the child who her teacher was and took her by the hand to lead her to class. These moments make me so proud of our community. I am a firm believer that the work we do shapes the future and if Wilson Creek is any indication of things to come, we are going to be ok.
Thank you parents for raising children who take responsibility for their actions and who look for ways to help others. We are your partners in this work. If we all reinforce the importance of kindness and responsibility, the future will be bright for our kids.
All the best,
Stephanie Haga
