Field Trip
We are heading to the zoo this Thursday, November 12th. We will be there most of the school day.
The trip aligns with several skills in our curriculum. Our ELA Unit 2 culminating activity is having the students make a sign for a new zoo exhibit. The students will look at the different features on the animal signs as they tour the zoo. Then they will use what they thought was the most interesting features to help design a sign. We will also be writing a research report on an animal found at the zoo. We will research online and choose one animal found at the Maryland zoo and then gather data about the animal on our trip.
More information to follow.
