E. Rivers Summer Reading
May, 2023
Happy Summer!
We want our students at E. Rivers to be life long learners so they will excel in school and in life! Research shows "Reading is More Important For Our Kids Than You Ever Imagined" (https://www.boredteachers.com/post/reading-is-more-important-than-you-ever-imagined, May, 2023).
Reading:
- increases a child's vocabulary
- develops the imagination
- increases logical thinking skills and helps students grasp abstract concepts
- Reading fiction helps children develop higher emotional intelligence
- and so much more
Reading to your children is also a special time together and has many incredible benefits! Please let me know how I can help you develop a love of read in your children.
Have a great summer!
