Recent Highlights at Leaman
Thanksgiving Week
We hope your Thanksgiving break was relaxing and enjoyable. November is certainly busy leading into Thanksgiving with conferences and the end of the first trimester. Although we had last week off, here are just a few pics from the week before, with Kindness Week and our trimester rally.
Upcoming Events & What's New
Student Leadership Adopts Seniors
Student Leadership is adopting seniors for the holidays, and many of our parents and families have signed up to help purchase gifts. Reminder: the donations from the signup are due this Wednesday, November 30th, in the office. Thank you to all who have helped!
Student Leadership in the Lincoln Hometown Christmas Parade
Our Leaman Student Leadership will be walking in the Hometown Christmas Parade this Saturday, December 3rd. Parade starts at 4:30pm. Come enjoy the fun and look for us there!
Early Release Week - 12/19 through 12/22/22
The week before winter break, 12/19-12/22, students in all grades will be released early each day at 1:40pm. We have Friday, 12/23 off that week. Students will be on normal lunch schedule.
Absence
Prior to Thanksgiving break, illness was spreading throughout the region, causing many absences. Hopefully, the break gave people a chance to rest and stop some spread of illness. If your student must be absent, be sure to contact our office to provide the reason. Please do this early on the day of the absence. Thank you.
Registration Information from WPUSD
Lost and Found Filling Fast!
With the cooler weather, students are wearing more layers and then peeling off their clothes and leaving them around campus. Please remind your students to take care of their clothing. Also, check the lost and found to find any missing clothing or items left behind. Thank you.

Final Thoughts for the Week
We hope last week brought joy and quality time for your family. November is always such a busy month at school, and here we are, almost December. The next few weeks will be back to somewhat normal schedule, then we'll be getting ready for Winter Break. Looking forward to seeing our Lemurs back on campus this week. Have Fun!
