Dear CCTC Families,
Hello everyone! My name is Courtney Handte and I am the Proud Principal of CCTC. Welcome to the 21/22 School Year! Our theme for this school year is, "Be the sunshine!" I challenge all students and staff to be the sunshine to others & themselves! Greet others in a friendly way! When you see someone having a rough day, offer words of encouragement and kindness! If you don't feel like yourself, do something that makes you happy! Shine bright, CCTC!
We have exciting opportunities ahead and I look forward to experiencing them together! We may also experiences some challenges, but through collaboration and cooperation, we can identify barriers impacting student success and problem solve to achieve solutions. Communication is essential, so if you have questions, comments or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me at:
(410)479-0100
We are excited to see our students on Wednesday, September 1, for the first day of school! Whether students are nervous, excited, or somewhere in between, please follow these tips for a successful first day of school:
- Students should bring their charged laptops back and forth to school daily.
- Students should check their student emails regularly.
- Breakfast and lunch are free for all students this school year!
- Teachers will let students know what school supplies they will need. Pack a pencil and some paper for day one.
- We always have extra school supplies available. See your teacher or Mr. Plutschak if you need something.
- Students' schedules are available in PowerSchool now. If a student has a schedule concern/question or forgot their PS login, they should email their school counselor. Also see the link below for helpful PowerSchool tips.
- This is a reminder that students' pants need to sit at their natural waistline, no crop tops, no holes/rips in jeans that are above the fingertips, shorts/skirts/dresses need to be at or past the fingertips, and no undergarments showing.
- Masks are required to be worn by staff and students.
- Students may bring water bottles to school and/or water can be purchased.
Be safe and healthy,
Mrs. Handte
