First full week in the books!

We had a big week: our first Monday at school, Back to School Night, and our first assembly! I am proud to report that each and every scholar exhibited excellent behavior at our Essential Agreements in Shared Spaces assembly. Outstanding job! Many thanks to our extremely hard-working educators for their informative and impressive presentations at Back to School Night. Many schools are not able to host this event until much later in the fall. However, Caleb's ALL-STAR teachers and staff were eagerly awaiting the opportunity to connect with parents and families and it was their hard work that made Back to School Night happen.

In Partnership,

Principal Trent

Upcoming Events

Cougars on the Run

A huge shoutout to our volunteers who made our first Cougars on the Run this year a smashing success! It was so great to see all of our runners, walkers, and wigglers enjoying the sunshine and fresh air on the track this morning. We can't wait to see you next week.

Classroom Visits (Continued)

This week I had the opportunity to spend time...

-Playing "Co-seeki" and "In Plain Sight" with Mrs. Stallworth's 3rd graders. They are excellent detectives and I had to work extra hard to stump them.

-Sharing my "What's in the Sack" items in Mr. Zylstra's 2nd grade room and Ms. Bond's 1st grade room. I had so much fun with both classes!

-Playing "Get to Know You Ball" with Mrs. Mafua's 5th graders. They did a great job, especially considering the fact that we played a challenging game on a Friday afternoon. 😉

I can't wait to spend time with more classes next week.

Essential Agreements of Shared Spaces Assembly

Check out our slideshow here. I was so lucky to have student leaders help me present to grades 1-6 this morning. Many thanks to Elyse R., Bryce J., Miles M., Luke S., Carolyn J., Eva Q., and Audrey D. for their hard work.

Sacramento, CA

Save the Date! Caleb Greenwood's Jog-a-thon is back and better than ever! Please join us on campus the morning of October 14th (schedule by class coming soon) to cheer on your Caleb Cougars as they run the track for our school's first fundraiser! The Jog-a-thon is an amazing event that brings our Caleb Community together, and this year families will be welcomed back on the track to show their Cougar pride and support our awesome students and staff. The Jog-a-thon is an incredibly important fundraiser for our school, helping to support all of the enrichment programs that help make our school an incredible place for our IB learners. Be on the lookout in the coming weeks for information on how your student can participate in the Jog-a-thon fundraiser and for volunteer opportunities. We can't wait to see you all on the track!
