Dyslexia Doodles
Sealy ISD- Second Edition
Some tips for reading with your child!
1. Let your child read to you! This is a great way to spend time together while making sure they are reading correctly and are provided support so that they can grow!
2. Always be their cheerleader!
3. Difficult Words: When they come to a difficult word (and get upset/ frustrated/ or throw a fit) please know that it is okay to just give them the word!
4. It's okay to take turns reading.
5. Show them you are enjoying the book too; laugh at the funny parts!
6. When they finish reading, give praise!
And remember...easy reading makes reading easy!!!
