Parent Referral Form.

On November 10th, we will have the 4th grade Veteran’s Day performance and Holiday family meal from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM. Families can enjoy the Thanksgiving style meal with their students, and the Veterans Day performance will begin at 6:00 p.m. The cost of the adult meal is $5.50 and the child meal is $3.50 for non-Oakley students. All Oakley Elementary students will get a free meal.

Parents/Guardians can go to the www.schoolpay.com website and sign up for an account, order your meals, then select the campus and date you are attending. There is also an option to add additional children who are not school-age if needed.

Dual Language will also have activities set up in the gym for families.

The Mindset for November is 100% Accountable. This mindset teaches the importance of being 100% accountable or responsible for our own happiness and success. Not 60%, not 70%, but 100%. This means we take ownership for ALL of our choices and actions: the things we’ve done or haven’t done, the words we speak and how we treat others. This can be considered challenging.

100% responsibility starts with each person. We are free to choose our attitude, our happiness, our success, and how hard we try. During the week of November 14 - 17th, we will have a kindness challenge with daily dress-up themes.

Develop a system where EVERY student has a place to belong, be supported, and be successful. 7 Houses, 1 Community!

We are all a part of the Rocket House. The Rocket House will be divided into 7 smaller houses, with students and staff members randomly assigned to each house. Each house will be represented by one of the 7 Mindsets listed below:

• Following BLAST behavior expectations - Be responsible, Lead by example, Act responsibly, Safety first, Teamwork matters
• Acts of Kindness
• Collaboration
• Mindset Champion
• Attendance
• Quality Work

Every week we will reveal a House winner at our Friday House Party. Random rewards will be given throughout the year for the winning Houses. (Extra recess, popsicles, dance party, etc.)

If you want to check on your student's overall grade, you will find that information in Skyward. You can put in a Help Desk Ticket request if you need help remembering your log-in information.
