Ben Glenn, "The Middle Matters" Keynote Speaker
Proposals Now Open to Apply to Present at "The Middle Matters" AND You Can Also Tell Us What Sessions You Would LIKE to See!
In addition, we want to let us tell you what you would LIKE to learn about, or if you would like to suggest someone you think should present. Please use this google form to suggest topics or presenters.
We (Still) Want to Include You in Our Newsletter!
We are still accepting articles for our upcoming print newsletter. School happenings, book reviews, successful programs, grants... anything that might be of interest to other schools. We can even award PGPs for them! Questions? Contact Susie Highley
This week is the deadline to apply for the NEH Summer Seminars & Institutes for Teachers. These come with a stipend to defray costs, and are held at various locations.
The Library of Congress has week-long institutes in Washington, D.C. focusing on using primary sources in the classroom. This year in addition to general sessions, there are weeks focused on WW I and Science, Technology, & Engineering. I have several friends who have attended this and recommend it highly. The deadline to apply is March 21.
If you know of other special opportunities that we can share, please let Susie Highley know, and we will include it in a future edition of the "Monday Minute".
