Dear Families,

It's hard to believe this year is winding down. It has been an incredibly difficult year, but it has also been filled to the brim with blessings! As a school, we've never needed to rely on families so much to ensure their students are engaged in learning, but the necessity of that partnership this year has really brought out the best for us as a whole. Teachers who have never texted before have texted with parents five days a week! We've had computer issues galore, but that also meant we got face-to-face interactions with parents we may not have otherwise seen this year. Teachers and interventionists alike were forced into virtual learning platforms for the first time in their lives, but they learned so many new engagement techniques and skills they wouldn't otherwise have developed. I am choosing to count our blessings this year, instead of focusing on all the hardships. I hope you'll join me in appreciating a year of growth for ALL involved!

We've worked hard all year and are ready to have some fun! Wednesday, June 16th will be an optional Field Day for ALL students from 10:00 am to 2:30 pm. We will not have food deliveries that day, as students will be able to take food kits home at the end of Field Day. If you need food delivered, please call our office at (810) 768-3860, and we'd be happy to drop some off for you!

Have a wonderful weekend!
