Plot is a literary term used to describe the events that make up a story or the main part of a story. These events relate to each other in a pattern or a sequence. The structure of a novel depends on the organization of events in the plot of the story. These involve.... exposition..... rising action.... climax..... falling action.... resolution.

setting- The time and place a story takes place

rough draft- The pre-written stage of a final copy.

revise/edit

to go over, and fix any changes, requirements, or adjustments.

out line- a general description or plan giving the essential features of something but not the detail.

narrative- a spoken or written account of connected events; a story.

sensory language

is a way for a writer to help the reader see or connect with an image, description, action, or scene. Sensory language is a language that connects to the five senses (sight, sound, smell, taste, touch) to create an image or description.

publish

prepare and issue (a book, journal, piece of music, or other work) for public sale.

Plan- decide on and arrange in advance.

topic scentence- a sentence that expresses the main idea of the paragraph in which it occurs.
