A few quick things about this week...
Reading
We will continue to read our memoirs this week and discuss the importance of perspective and point of view in our books.
Students will have assigned reading in school, but may have to do additional reading at home. Please help your child manage their time with the following pages read by TUESDAY:

ALL INDEPENDENT READING BOOKMARKS ARE DUE FRIDAY, JUNE 7TH! OUR GOAL IS 5-6 BOOKS THIS TRIMESTER!
Writing
Students are continuing to work on their poetry books this week and we will also be continuing our poetry readings. Apology poems (see example below) will be due Wednesday. All due dates are to help students manage their time while completing this project to ensure they complete it on time. We will having some fun with poetry as we move on to writing limericks and couplets about summer to finish up our poetry books. ALL POETRY BOOKS WILL BE DUE FRIDAY, MAY 31ST!
