Hour of Code at Home
Participate in the Hour of Code anytime
What is the Hour of Code?
The Hour of Code is a first step in showing all students what computer science is all about. The Hour of Code is a self-guided activity that anybody can do. A variety of tutorials are available to teach the basics of computer science. The Hour of Code is sponsored by Code.org and aims to raise awareness and generate interest in the field of computer science.
Why Computer Science?
Kids are constantly using technology today, but how many are learning to build it? Every student should have the opportunity to learn computer science, yet fewer schools teach computer science than 10 years ago. The basics help nurture creativity and problem-solving skills, and prepare students for any future career.
