Plant Sale Continues!

We invite you to come shopping with us this weekend, Friday, May 12th & Saturday, May 13th, from 11am to 7pm. We have hanging baskets ($15 each or 2 for $25), potted plants, micro greens & veggies, herb jars, and more! This is the perfect time to buy Mother's Day gifts, Graduation gifts, Teacher gifts...any kind of gift you could dream up, actually! Now is also the time to get your yard ready for the summer, and our plants can help you do that! We want to give a shout out, and a great big THANK YOU, to all who came to see us this past weekend! Your purchases help fund our programs that work with special needs students and adults. We wouldn't be here without all of you, our supporters!

CSA Membership Still Possible

Did you miss the deadline to enroll in our CSA? Are you regretting that? Are you wondering where your farm-fresh produce is going to come from every week this summer? Well, do not despair! Youngstown Flea - May 20th

Look for us at the Youngstown Flea on Saturday, May 20th, from 11am to 4pm. This amazing local experience is located right next to the Covelli Centre, at 110 Freeman Alley in Youngstown. Come and enjoy live music, free yoga, food trucks, art, antiques & collectibles, jewelry, candles, reclaimed metals/wood, apparel, specialty drink vendors, farmers market & produce and so much more. We will be there with our Jungle Jam, hanging baskets, and other goodies. The Flea runs from April thru October.

Goodness Grows will be there on May 20, June 17, July 15, August 19, and September 16.

Check out their website at http://youngstownflea.com/.

Our Students Are Busy!

Our spring days with the special needs classes from Leetonia, Crestview, and the Transition Program are quickly drawing to a close. The students (and teachers!) have been instrumental in making our Plant Sale a success, as well as getting our back greenhouse and gardens ready to grow goodies for the CSA program, the food pantry, and the summer markets. We are so very lucky to be able to grow and learn with all of these hard working folks.

Upcoming in June!

We will be at the RiverFest again this summer in Youngstown. This is an annual family friendly day of fun along the Mahoning River. We get to set up near the beautiful B&O Station to sell our jam and plants, while enjoying this amazing area. RiverFest is one of our favorite things to do each June. It is full of vendors, foods to try, crafts and games for kids, and much, much, much more! The Friends of the Mahoning River does an absolutely fabulous job of making this the place to be every summer. See you June 3rd by the river!
