Principal's Message
Hello Stetson Families,
The administrative team's rain gear just finally dried from Wednesday's dismissal! We hope you and your extended family fared well through the storm. Many West Chester families have been impacted, please let us know if we can be of any assistance. I just want to take a moment and acknowledge what a great job our Stetson students have done transitioning back to school. Their resiliency can be seen in the hallway chatter, laughing in the lunchroom, and classroom engagement. Thank you for preparing and supporting your students' transitioning back to their daily school routine. They are doing a great job of advocating their needs and working through health struggles. Give them a hug during this long weekend and tell them how proud you are.
Safety is our number one priority. We will continue to support and monitor student transportation. We are asking parents to be patient as specific bussing routes are being adjusted. Parent picks ups must take place between 2:50 and 3:10 pm. All students must be picked up no later than 3:15 as we do not have afternoon supervision. Students are not permitted to walk off-campus or Starkweather to be picked up. Parents that park in our lot must escort their student from the sidewalk to their car. Students are not permitted to walk through the parking lot during dismissal. We understand that arrival and dismissal can be time-consuming please plan accordingly. I help the line go as quickly as possible we are asking all parents to loop around Starkweather before entering Stetson's carline. NO CARS are permitted in our bus loop at any time. If you are running into a transportation problem please let our front office know.
You should have received information yesterday about Open House and Picture Day next week. Please refer back to that email for additional information.
We want to wish our families celebrating Rosh Hashanah a happy new year. Enjoy a long week to pay tribute to the contributions and achievements of the American workers on Labor Day.
Thanks for your time and attention in reading this week's edition!
Relax and have a great long weekend,
Mrs. Puchalla
