It is absolutely amazing that we have already started the 2nd marking period. I am currently running 1st marking period grade reports for all students and will be calling parents/guardians who have a student who is struggling academically (3 or more failing grades). The purpose of this call is to try to figure out the root cause and think of possible solutions.

I have had a few parents reaching out asking if they can have their students go back to traditional school at the end of the semester and the answer is Yes. The transfer request deadline is December 16th, so if this is something you are possibly considering please contact our counselor Courtney Wood at 810-591-1634 or cwood@gbcs.org.
