LMS Blue Jay Families,
I hope that everyone is having a great week! I enjoyed getting to meet with our PTSA on Monday. We would love for more members to join us. Our next meeting is October 30th, at 6:00 pm in the LMS library.
Our Parent/Teacher conferences are October 16th and 17th, from 3:00-7:00 pm. Families sign up for these conferences through myconferencetime. Scroll down to see more information.
*Our PTSA takes care of our staff meals on these nights. Below you will find links to sign up to bring an item for our taco night, pizza night, or to donate money for the purchase of the items that are needed. Any support is appreciated.
Please be aware that the connection between our bus lot and our front parking lot is now chained up. We use the bus lot for cross-country and track practices after school. It becomes an unsafe environment when cars are driving through.
Our Fall Play, How to Survive Being in a Shakespeare Play, is next Friday, October 6th, and Saturday, October 7th, at 7:00 pm. Our students and directors have been working very hard on this. It's going to be an amazing show. There is more information below.
Have a great rest of the week!

Some day it’s going to happen: You’re going to find yourself on stage in a Shakespeare play, and that means it’s a pretty good bet you’re going to DIE. The Bard is out for blood, but this play is here to stop him! How could Romeo and Juliet survive? Julius Caesar? A nameless soldier in Henry the Fifth? What if King Lear had an emotional support llama and didn’t need to make terrible mistakes? Join us in discovering how a dozen of Shakespeare’s plays could’ve turned out differently!
Kids need challenges in order to grow, and as caring adults, we must be proactive about making sure we support this growth.
