Methamphetamines, They are Bad News
How People Use it?
Methamphetamine is usually taken orally, smoked, snorted, or dissolved in water or alcohol and injected. Smoking or injecting the drug delivers it very quickly to the brain, where it produces an immediate, intense euphoria. Because the pleasure also fades quickly, users often take repeated doses.
Effects on the User
Meth creates a dopamine jump in the brain which gives the user a feel good feeling but for a limited time and it is highly addictive. Long term effects can cause a person to be anxious, and paranoid. It can also effect the persons appearance significantly. These effects often spill over to family members. For example children of meth users or cooks are often malnourished, victims of physical or sexual abuse, or have behavioral problems as a result or neglect.
